We bought this primarily for backup power, and it delivered BIG TIME during the recent hurricane. While the whole neighborhood was dark, we kept our fridge cold, phones charged, and even ran a small fan. The solar panels charged the batteries back up surprisingly fast once the sun returned. Works flawlessly and feels incredibly robust.
